Development of a calibre specifically intended for observatory competitions, the 360, which is produced in a very small series. It has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and its construction features reflect its function: while its total surface area is close to the limits set by the observatories, the calibre’s generous size accommodates a large barrel spring and improves the management of energy transmission. It also enables the use of a large tandem sprung balance oscillating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour, which allows for very precise operation. The calibre 360 sets precision records in the wrist chronometer category at the Neuchâtel Observatory.
