The fifth edition of Les Elégantes de Longines brings back the sparkling spirit of the Roaring Twenties

Designers show no sign of having done with the style and spirit of the Twenties and early Thirties, a period of effervescent design and endless creative verve. From architecture to music, from literature to fashion to all the applied arts, that period draws together styling revolution and uninhibited exploration of new worlds of the mind and matter. This year again, Longines is bringing back a trio of spectacular beauties inspired by its collections dated 1928 and 1931.

Longines BelleArti, eternal feminism by Longines

Longines’ new BelleArti collection is a tribute in grace and elegance to eternal feminism. It pays homage to the extraordinarily productive period of the 1920s. Based on a historical model, this new collection reinterprets the Art Deco movement through aesthetically pleasing and contemporary timepieces.

Longines Clous de Paris: archetypal elegance

Elegance and tradition of watchmaking have always been closely linked with Longines. The new Longines Clous de Paris collection is a worthy heir to these values. Inspired at the same time by over 170 years of know-how brought up to date in a new movement and by a secular artistic heritage, this new collection has taken a classical and pleasing decorative form dated from the early 20th century French jewellery, which is used to decorate the case and the dial of its models. The Longines Clous de Paris collection is a subtle and refined addition, drawn from a many-sided heritage, to the brand’s top range of mechanical models.

Longines Spirit: the spirit of a pioneering tradition

Since the firm was founded in 1832, Longines has never ceased to be actively involved in all aspects of time measurement.
