The Birth of a Work of Art - Longines BelleArti Collection

To celebrate the birth of the arty Longines BelleArti Collection, Longines held a launch event at Beijing Xing Fun Cun Art Center on the 11th of December.

Longines has always sought perfection in the technology and design of its timepieces, using aesthetics as the basis in the creation of its elegant wristwatches. The newly launched Longines BelleArti collection is a work of art, personifying the eternal feminism of women. To highlight its artistic merits, the press conference to announce the launch of the Longines BelleArti collection was held at the Xingfucun Art Centre in Beijing on December 11, 2006. In addition to showcasing the latest Longines BelleArti collection, the works from several artists were also displayed. They include four renowned artists, Mr. Yan Lei, Mr. Liu Wei, Hong Kong architect Mr. Antony Chan and Hong Kong photographer Mr. Paul Tsang. The elegance and aesthetic beauty of the Longines BelleArti collection shone through this total immersion in art.

Longines ambassador Ms. Carina Lau took time out to attend the press conference and officiated at the launching ceremony of the Longines BelleArti collection together with Mr. Claude Jaunin-Longines’ General Sales Manager, Asia Pacific and Mr. Dennis Li-Vice President of Longines, China. With her new BelleArti watch, Carina looked the embodiment of the perfect woman at the event. A group of male and female models presented the full range of the Longines BelleArti collection, showing off the perfect lines and gracious elegance of the watches to perfection.
