Longines retailer convention in Xi’an
Longines China held 2006 retailer convention from
May 31 – June
3, 2006 (Wednesday to Saturday) at Xian, the ancient capital
of China, with strong heritage just like that of Longines.
Longines president, Mr. von Känel, vice president of
Longines Far East, Mr. Jaunin, brand manager of Longines
Taiwan, Ms. Erica Chang, and brand manager of Longines
China, Mr. Dennis Li, attended the convention and welcomed
retailers from all over the country.
As the finale highlight of the whole convention, Ms.
Chi-Ling Lin, the newly appointed ambassador of Lonignes,
graced the Gala Dinner in the evening of June 2. The
gorgeous charisma of Chi-Ling stunned the attention of
all trade partners and media from both Xian, national
China and Taiwan.
The convention further strengthened our good relationship
with trade partners; enhanced understanding of Longines
elegant profile through up-front communication with retailers;
gathered comments from retailers on what appropriate
strategy should be adopted to further tackle the China
market.
