Longines BelleArti Grand Launch - Press Conference and
Trade Dinner – Taipei (Taiwan)
The new collection of Longines BelleArti was officially
launched in Taiwan market on November 1st 2006 with
press conference in the afternoon and trade dinner
in the evening to create publicity and enhance trade
confidence of Longines BelleArti in Taiwan market.
President of Longines, Mr. Walter von Känel, Ms.
Stephaine Jeanneret, and the Longines ambassador, Ms.
Chiling Lin, all attended the event. Three artists,
including the pianist- Maggie Tang, the artist painter-
Tseng Chi-I and the fashion designer- Khieng Puong,
were invited to the event for the Longines Artist Award
to interpret the beauty of art in different formats.
The key messages of the event are to highlight the
curve design and fashion colors application of the
new collection - Longines BelleArti.
In the watch display area, the art works of the artist
painter, Tseng Chi-I, were displayed together with
framed Longines BelleArti poster became an art gallery
ambience which led invited guests to appreciate the
beauty of art.
The event was started by a tenor duet performance
to create an art theatre impact. Right after the opening
speech of Mr. Walter von Känel, Ms. Erica Chang and
the hostess together introduced the Longines BelleArti.
The video of Longines BelleArti was played during the
presentation session to lead audience experiencing
the beauty of art.
After the product presentation, a series of art performances
were presented with the tenor duet as an opening who
present the famous opera song, Turandot. Following
was a short silhouette show to highlight curve shape
of Longines BelleArti via lines/shape of body, and
then Ms. Chiling Lin appeared on stage, catwalked with
two modern dancers who deployed ribbon and gymnastic-like
choreography to interpret curves and shapes of Longines
BelleArti. At the end, the product catwalk show allowed
audience to take a close look at the new collection.
The Longines Ambassador, Ms. Chiling Lin, was introduced
by hostess and the “behind-the-scene” footage
was showed on screen. Chiling also mentioned Longines
BelleArti is her favourite collection. Mr. Walter von
Kaenel presented one Longines BelleArti to Chiling
as a gift to formally activate the launch campaign
now kick-off.
The Longines Artist Award was presented to three outstanding
artists by Mr. Walter von Känel. All the artists presented
their works in the press conference, to showcase “art” in
different format: Pianist- Maggie Tang played Chopin’s
work, Painter -Tseng Chi-I displayed his art works
in display area and the designer Khieng Puong prepared
2 fashion works dressed by Chiling Lin for the press
conference.
For the trade dinner arrangement, besides the programs
arranged in the same format of press conference, some
entertainment programs including clown performance,
magic show and live jazz were arranged to make the
dinner more relaxing and enjoyable.
