Elegant Performance for Official Launch of the new Longines Sports Collection

Baselworld, 12th April 2007 - A new page of history was written at Baselworld when the Longines brand officially launched its dedicated elegant sports collection at the Swatch Group Plaza, followed by a press conference given by the CEO of The Swatch Group, Mr Nick Hayek Jr., together with the brand's President Mr Walter von Känel. At 10 am precisely the Swatch Group Plaza came alive with giant screens descending from the ceiling as backdrops for the acrobatic feats of athletes illustrating in mime the four dimensions of the sports quest for excellence to go faster, further, higher and deeper than before: the message of the new sports watch collection from Longines, in perfect adequation with the brand's prestigious sports history and contemporary sports partnerships.
