The
Chilean market won over by the Longines Sport Collection
As a recognised and exemplary bastion of Longines products,
Chile always avidly welcomes events surrounding the launch
of a new collection.
In order to combine precision, elegance, tradition,
sport and performance, the brand took over the hangar
of the Vitacura Gliding Club in Santiago and completely
transformed it to host an event attended by a public
that was as numerous as it was enthusiastic, against
an astounding backdrop and in an intimate and welcoming
atmosphere.
Various giant screens showed the concept of the new
sport collection, illustrated by an acrobatic spectacle
that had been specially choreographed for the occasion.
The guests, already won over, then moved on to the part
of the hangar that had been turned into an elegant salon
where they could admire the display of models from the
new lines while savouring various tasty snacks.
Longines and Importadora Altea, the brand’s distributor
in Chile which had organised the event, also presented
watches to two well known Chilean celebrities: César
Antonio Santis, a pilot and popular presenter of television
and radio programmes, and Nicole Perrot, one of Chile’s
most promising young golfers. Thanks to these new ambassadors,
Longines will enjoy an even more prominent place in Chilean
society.
There is no doubt that the enthusiasm shown by the retailers
and the media who attended the launch augurs well for
the Longines Sport Collection.
