With more than 175 years of history, Swiss watch brand Longines has just opened its Hong Kong’s third franchise store at Ying Ping Road in Causeway Bay.

Located at Ying Ping Road in Causeway Bay, the elegant store occupies 890 sq ft in size and offers customers a comfortable shopping environment. The décor is contemporary and elegant, in perfect harmony with the brand’s slogan, “Elegance is an attitude”. Customers can stroll around books and volumes about the history and the watchmaking tradition of Longines in the VIP area. A customer service room offers simple after sales service. People can also surf the internet and check out the Longines website to learn more about the brand, its products, promotional activities and the latest news on the brand’s Ambassadors of Elegance. Longines franchised store at Ying Ping Road in Causeway Bay also showcases the full collections of the brand’s watches: Elegance, Watchmaking Tradition and Sport, all the segments are represented. This exclusive shop also offers a choice of diamond watches.

Officiating at the ribbon cutting ceremony in Hong Kong for the first time, Chi Ling Lin, Longines’ Ambassador of Elegance, came to Hong Kong especially for the event. The opening of the store has also served as a preview of the new BaselWorld 2009 watches. Thus, Longines’ guests have discovered, for example, the latest Longines Admiral collection which combines a chronograph function and a ceramic bezel design. The Longines Weems Second-Setting Watch in rose gold, the Legend Diver, WWW, La Grande Classique were also on display. During the ceremony, Longines has presented a model of Les Elegantes 2009 ( a collection limited to 20 pieces of production worldwide for a value of HK$100,000) to Ms Chi Ling Lin to congratulate her on her first appearance as Ambassador of Elegance in Hong Kong. In return, Chi Ling has offered a fortune windmill to wish the store prosperity and to take business to a new level.
