Tsung-Hua Yang celebration press conference (Taiwan, Taiwan)

Tsung-Hua Yang, Longines Ambassador of Elegance of the world of Sports wins gold medals in Tennis at the Asian Games in mixed doubles and men’s team competition. Tsung-Hua Yang is thus becoming the future Taiwanese tennis star. To celebrate his success Longines Taiwan held a press conference and awarded Yang with a Longines Admiral watch. On behalf of Longines, Erica Chang, Taiwan Vice President wishes Yang to continue to exceed himself in his tennis career.

Tsung-Hua Yang is the first player from Taiwan to be awarded with the title of number one junior player in the world. In 2008, he was the winner of the Junior Grand Slam at the French Open of Roland-Garros, which had not been won by an Asian player in 17 years. In addition to that, he also was the first from Asia to win the 2008 Junior World Champion Award. This year, Yang represented Taiwan as a part of the team at the Asian Games. He participated in the men’s team tennis and mixed doubles competitions in Guangzhou. With Yang’s outstanding performance, he successfully won two gold medals, one in men’s team competition and one in mixed doubles. In addition, Chi Ling Lin, Longines Ambassador of Elegance sent congratulation message to Tsung-Hua Yang for his excellent performance at the Asian Games. Chi Ling mentioned that she is truly proud of him. She congratulates Tsung-Hua Yang and encourages him for the future.

Erica Chang, Longines Taiwan Vice President, said that Longines is making its mark in the world of tennis, a sport that shares many of the values of the watchmaking brand, such as tradition and elegance. In addition, the good tennis players must have excellent skills, self-control and the pursuit of courage. Longines Taiwan committed to promoting tennis grass roots in Taiwan since 2009, and in the future hopes to continue collaborating with Yang to be able to contribute to the world of tennis.
