As official partner of the Archery World Cup Season, the Swiss watch brand awarded the Longines Prize for Precision at the World Cup Final on Saturday. The two most precise compound athletes of the season, Erika Jones (USA) and Braden Gellenthien (USA) have received this award in Paris. Longines congratulates them on their exceptional sporting performance.

The Swiss watch brand plays a key role in the results and timing services of the World Cup events. This sport represents the values that the brand cherishes – precision, tradition and elegance. To succeed, the athletes have to master their bow and arrow through concentration, balance, accuracy and skill.
After four qualifying stages, in Shanghai (China), Antalya (Turkey), Medellin (Colombia) and Wroclaw (Poland), the top athletes were in Paris for the Final of the 2013 World Cup. The competition took place on the very emblematic Esplanade of the Trocadero. Erika Jones (USA) and Braden Gellenthien (USA), the two most precise compound athletes of this year’s World Cup, have been awarded the Longines Prize for Precision. They have scored the most “10s” during the qualifications and the tournament of the season, 379 for Jones and 447 for Gellenthien. They each received a trophy, a Longines watch and a cheque for 5’000 CHF.
