    Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Western European League - Jumping Mechelen

    This afternoon at the Jumping Mechelen, in Belgium, German rider Christian Ahlmann on Clintrexo Z claimed the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ leg, in front of France’s Kevin Staut on Edesa's Cannary, second and Netherlands’ Harrie Smolders on Don VHP Z N.O.P., third. Ahlmann was presented with an elegant timepiece from the Swiss watch brand Longines, Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League.

    Longines FEI World Cup Western European League - London Olympia Horse show 2018

    On Saturday 22 December 2018, Great Britain’s rider Robert Whitaker on El Wee Widge earned first place on home soil at the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM during Olympia, the London International Horse Show. Laura Kraut (USA) on Confu arrived second followed by Holly Smith (GBR) on Claddagh Iroko. The winner of this exciting competition was granted an elegant Longines watch by the Swiss watchmaking brand, which is the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Western European League.

    Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix

    The Swiss watch brand Longines was delighted to be the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the brand new Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, which took place today in the magical Czech capital Prague. Gathering the 16 winners of each 2018 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix leg and their best horses for the delight of the numerous spectators in attendance, this thrilling event perfectly combined remarkable sports performance with spectacular entertainment. On this occasion, Australian rider Edwina Tops-Alexander on California emerged victorious, thus becoming the first Champion amongst the champions. A resounding win that is truly worthy of the claim, “When an historic victory turns you into a legend”. Ludger Beerbaum (GER) on Casello and Frank Schuttert (NED) on Chianti’s Champion secured second and third place respectively. In recognition of their great performance, they were granted elegant Longines timepieces from the hands of Walter von Känel, Longines President. As the Official Timekeeper of the Global Champions League Super Cup taking place on Sunday, we are looking forward to witnessing Jessica Springsteen, Longines Friend of the Brand, compete for the Miami Celtics. Over the weekend, Longines has highlighted the Official Watch of the event, the Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” model, representing a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.     Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Western European League - Casa Novas - Winter Festival

    On 9 December 2018, Australia’s rider Edwina Tops-Alexander on Vinchester finished first at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup competition in La Coruña, of which Longines is the Official Partner, Timekeeper and Watch. The Australian rider, who already won the same leg last year, was followed by Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano on Chalou and Ludger Beerbaum (GER) on Cool Feeling. This international show jumping event also hosted the Longines Grand Prix on Saturday night. On this occasion, Belgium’s Gudrun Patteet on Sea Coast Pebbles Z finished first ahead of compatriot Dominique Hendrickx on Kannabis van de Bucxtale and Spanish rider Gerardo Menendez Mieres on Costello DC. The winners of those two top-level show jumping competitions were granted an elegant Longines timepiece as a reward for their great win.

    French rider Kevin Staut reigned supreme at the Longines Speed Challenge in Paris

    Longines was delighted to take part in the Longines Masters of Paris as the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the whole series. Today was marked by the stunning victory of Kevin Staut on Ayade de Septon in the Longines Speed Challenge – a competition known as the fastest in the world and exclusive to the Longines Masters – whereas his compatriots Julien Epaillard on Safari d’Auge and Simon Delestre on Chadino secured the second and third place respectively. Tonight’s competition was thus 100% French. In recognition of his great performance, Kevin Staut received an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Juan-Carlos Capelli, Longines Vice President and Head of International Marketing. This evening of celebration was also the perfect occasion for Longines to welcome its new Friend of the Brand, the model Ilona Smet.     Longines Trophy Grand Prix of Maastricht

    The 2018 Jumping Indoor Maastricht was rounded off today with the victory of Bertram Allen on Gin Chin van het Lindenhof in the Longines Trophy Grand Prix of Maastricht. Irish rider was followed by Gerco Schröder on Glock's Cognac Champblanc and Kim Emmen on Delvaux.   During the event, Longines had the pleasure to present, for the first time, the FEI Driving World Cup™ competition, claimed by Koos De Ronde, from Netherlands.  The Official Watch of the 2018 Jumping Indoor Maastricht was a lady model from the Record collection. Featuring a mother-of-pearl dial and diamond indexes, this 26mm timepiece is certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute).

    On 25 November 2018, German rider Daniel Deusser and his mount Tobago Z arrived first at the sixth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League held during the Madrid Horse Week. Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat on Ulysse des Forets finished second ahead of Sweden’s Irma Karlsson on Ida van de Bisschop. The winner received an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Elena Orozsco, Longines Brand Manager Spain, as a reward for his great victory.     On 17 November 2018, Egyptian rider Nayel Nassar steered Lordan to vicory at the Christian Heineking (GER) on Aje Cluny dashed to victory at the 10th leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM North American League in Las Vegas. Germany’s Wilhelm Genn on Bugatti arrived second ahead of Harley Brown (AUS) on Mylord Cornet.     Longines FEI World Cup Western European League - Stuttgart German Master

    On 18 November 2018, Belgian rider Pieter Devos aboard Apart jumped to victory atthe fifth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup TM in Stuttgart. Max Kühner (AUT) and PSG Final followed ahead of Christian Ahlmann (GER) on Tokyo. Swisswatchmaking brand Longines was delighted to grant Pieter Devos with an elegant timepiece as a reward for his great win.     Longines Rising Star Award 2018

    On November 20, the capital of Bahrain welcomed the prestigious 2018 FEI Awards Ceremony, acknowledging since 2009 the contribution of personalities and organizations in their progress in equestrian sports. On this occasion, French eventing rider Victor Levecque was presented the Longines Rising Star Award - rewarding athletes between the ages of 14 and 21 who demonstrate outstanding equestrian sporting talent - by Vice President of Longines and Head of International Marketing, Juan-Carlos Capelli. To acknowledge his promising career, the young athlete was presented with an elegant Longines watch.   In 2012, Victor Levecque becomes Pony French Champion, winning the first title of his prize list that will keep growing over the years. The next year he joins the French Team and takes part in his first European Championships, where he wins two medals, team silver and individual bronze. 2014 marks a first turning point in his young career, finishing his Pony years with three gold medals in the European and French Championships. In 2018, Victor Levecque and his horse Phunambule des Auges win three gold medals in Young Riders category; team and individual gold medallist in the Longines FEI European Championships in July, and French Championship winners of the category a few weeks later. At the age of 20, Longines Rising Star Victor Levecque has already won ten European medals and five French Champion titles.   Longines attaches great importance to encouraging youngsters to practice sports.
