What makes this timepiece exceptional

Launched in the late 1960s, the Admiral range was characterized by sporty, resolutely contemporary watch designs. This emblematic model of the collection is a true testament to its time, with its oversized case featuring a futuristic shape and its high-frequency caliber 431 movement. The latter, originally developed by Longines for the Ultra-Chron collection, was one of the most precise movements of its time for mass production. The model shown here has never been sold or worn.
