The much-awaited FEI World Equestrian GamesTM ended today at the Tryon International Equestrian Center after two weeks of intense competition in the disciplines of Dressage, Eventing, Reining, Jumping, Vaulting, Para-Equestrian Dressage and Vaulting – the Endurance trial having been cancelled due to extreme weather conditions. Eight new gold medallists in the disciplines of Para-Dressage and Vaulting at FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018

Dressage World Championship at FEI World Equestrian GamesTM Tryon 2018. Rihards Snikus (LAT) took second place on King Of The Dance followed by America’s Roxanne Trunnell on Dolton.

 

In Grade II, Stinna Tange Kaastrup (DEN) on Horsebo Smarties took the win ahead of Nicole den Dulk (NED) on Wallace N.O.P. and Lee Pearson (GB) on Styletta.

Team America and Team Netherlands reigned supreme in the Team Jumping and Para-Dressage Championships at FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018

On Friday 21 September 2018, Team USA claimed the title on home soil at the Team Jumping Championship. Laura Kraut on Zeremonie, Adrienne Sternlicht on Cristalline, Devin Ryan on Eddie Blue and McLain Ward on Clinta demonstrated incredible performance during the competition and took the win ahead of Team Sweden and Team Germany.

On Thursday 20 September 2018, Italian athletes Lorenzo Lupacchini and Silvia Stopazzini on Rosenstolz set themselves apart in the Pas de Deux Vaulting Championship at FEI World Equestrian GamesTM Tryon 2018. Austria’s Jasmin Lindner and Lukas Wacha took the second position followed by Germany’s Theresa-Sophie Bresch and Torben Jacobs. Rixt van der Horst (NED), Sara Morganti (IT) and Team Germany are the gold medallists of the day at FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018

On Wednesday 19 September 2018, Dutch rider Rixt van der Horst and Findsley took the win at the Individual Grade III Para-Dressage World Championship at FEI World Equestrian GamesTM Tryon 2018. She was followed by Natasha Baker (GBR) on Mount St John Diva Dannebrog and American rider Rebecca Hart on El Corona Texel.

 

In the Individual Grade I Para-Dressage competition, the gold went to Italy’s Sara Morganti and her mount Royal Delight. Laurentia Yen-Yi Tan (SGP) on Fuerst Sherlock arrived second ahead of German rider Elke Philipp on Fuerst Sinclair.

On Tuesday 18 September 2018, Dutch rider Sanne Voets and her mount Demantur N.O.P. claimed first place at the Individual Grade IV Para-Dressage World Championship at FEI World Equestrian GamesTM Tryon 2018. Brasilian rider Rodolpho Riskalla and Don Henrico followed ahead of Susanne Jensby Sunesen (DEN) on CSK’s Que Faire.
