Longines was delighted to take part in the Longines Masters of Paris as the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the whole series. Today was marked by the stunning victory of Kevin Staut on Ayade de Septon in the Longines Speed Challenge – a competition known as the fastest in the world and exclusive to the Longines Masters – whereas his compatriots Julien Epaillard on Safari d’Auge and Simon Delestre on Chadino secured the second and third place respectively. Tonight’s competition was thus 100% French.
In recognition of his great performance, Kevin Staut received an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Juan-Carlos Capelli, Longines Vice President and Head of International Marketing.
This evening of celebration was also the perfect occasion for Longines to welcome its new Friend of the Brand, the model Ilona Smet.
The Swiss watch brand is looking forward to seeing the world’s best riders and horses compete in the other highlight trials of the weekend, the Riders Masters Cup on Saturday, of which it is the Founding Partner, and the Longines Grand Prix on Sunday.
Last but not least, this international competition is the perfect opportunity for the spectators to discover the Official Watch of the event, the Conquest V.H.P. GMT Flash Setting. Sporty and elegant, this watch is a must-have for travel lovers, as it allows them to easily change time zones either manually, following watchmaking tradition, or by using the smart “Flash Setting” system that sets the watch using flash pulses from a smartphone. This timepiece revolutionizes both watchmaking precision and the user experience, expanding Longines’ Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” family, following the three-handed and chronograph versions.
