Eight new gold medallists in the disciplines of Para-Dressage and Vaulting at FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018

Dressage World Championship at FEI World Equestrian GamesTM Tryon 2018. Rihards Snikus (LAT) took second place on King Of The Dance followed by America’s Roxanne Trunnell on Dolton.


In Grade II, Stinna Tange Kaastrup (DEN) on Horsebo Smarties took the win ahead of Nicole den Dulk (NED) on Wallace N.O.P. and Lee Pearson (GB) on Styletta.


The Netherland’s Rixt van der Horst – who already won two gold medals at the Games – and her mount Findsley claimed the Grade III Freestyle competition. Rebecca Hart (USA) on El Corona Texel followed ahead of Germany’s Dr. Angelika Trabert on Diamond’s Shine.


Dutch rider Sanne Voets on Demantur N.O.P. earned her third gold medal at the Individual Freestyle Grade IV Para-Dressage World Championship. Brasilian rider Rodolpho Riskalla on Don Henrico followed ahead of Kate Shoemaker on Solitaer.


Finally, the Freestyle Grade V Para-Dressage title went to Great Britain’s Sophie Wells on C Fatal Attraction, the couple already took the gold on Tuesday. Frank Hosmar on Alphaville N.O.P. took the silver again and the bronze was claimed by Japanese rider Tomoko Nakamura on Djazz F.


On the same day, the Individual Female Vaulting Championship was taken by Germany’s Kristina Boe on Don de la Mar. Compatriot Janika Derks on Carousso Hit earned the silver medal while Lisa Wild (AUT) on Fairytale completed the podium.


In the Individual Male Vaulting Championship, France’s Lambert Leclezio earned first place on Poivre Vert. German riders Jannik Heiland and Thomas Brüsewitz respectively took the silver and the bronze medal.


Finally, the Squad Vaulting Championship has seen the great victory of Germany’s Team Norka des VV Koeln-Duennwald on Danny Boy OLD. Team SUI Luetisburg (SUI) on Rayo de la Luz took the silver followed by Team RC Wildegg (AUT) on Alessio l’Amabile.
