Also known as the “turf world championships”, the Longines Hong Kong International Races is composed of four iconic races: the Longines Hong Kong Cup (run over a distance of 2,000 m) for a prize money HK$28,000k, the Longines Hong Kong Mile (1,600 m) for a prize of HK$25,000k, the Longines Hong Kong Sprint (1,200 m) for a prize of HK$20,000k, and the Longines Hong Kong Vase (2,400 m) for a prize of HK$20,000k.The total prize money for the Hong Kong International Races is HK$93,000k.
The event is a perfect illustration of Longines’ long time involvement in timekeeping and equestrian sports.
