The ouststanding victory of French rider Mathieur Billot in the Longines Grand Prix of the Région Normandie concluded the second edition of the Longines Deauville Classic, consisting this year of four days of competition. The winning rider finished ahead of Great Britain’s Guy Williams on Rouge de Ravel and his fellow countryman Kevin Staut on Vendome d'Anchat HDC, second and third respectively.
The performance of Mathieu Billot was celebrated by Longines – represented by its Vice president and Head of International Marketing – who presented him with an elegant timepiece.
The Official Watch of the Longines Deauville Classic
During the event, the Swiss watch brand highlighted a model from the Record collection, as the Official Watch. This steel 40-mm diameter model displays a white matt dial with 12 painted roman numerals. Its automatic movement includes a single-crystal silicon balance spring with unique properties and is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
