錶殼由Piquerez設計，搭配能隨壓力增強錶殼阻力的系統，賦予腕錶120公尺防水深度。 之前用於潛水腕錶的電木旋轉錶圈會造成磨損，為了解決此問題，浪琴表決定在型號7042腕錶的錶盤上安裝一個位於錶盤內的旋轉錶圈，此特色源於二十世紀初的部分飛行員腕錶。 這兩項特點不但為Super Compressor腕錶帶來獨特外觀，更奠定其於潛水錶史上的重要地位。
