Bronze
Used in watchmaking for decades, bronze is an ancient alloy which is frequently used in the nautical industry and in the world of scuba diving.
The first diving suits worn by deep-sea explorers were made of bronze.
A FEW PRECAUTIONS
The special charm of bronze is that it is a material that changes over time. The surface of the metal oxidises and forms a natural patina. The colour of the case therefore changes to a greater or lesser extent as time goes by, depending on the watch wearer's habits and the conditions in which it is used. Be careful, as severe corrosion of the metal can stain light-coloured fabrics.
