    Longines FEI World Cup North American League - Guadalajara

    On 27 January 2018, Luis Alejandro Plascencia O (MEX) on Davinci finished first at the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping North American League Guadalajara in The Guadalajara Country Club. The competition was a podium sweep for Mexico for the first leg of 2018 with the second place taken by Gustavo Ramos on Izzy Miaki followed by compatriot Francisco Pasquel on Naranjo.   On this occasion, the winner was granted with an elegant Longines timepiece as a reward for his great win. The Swiss watch brand is the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping North American League series.

    Longines Global Champions Tour - Shanghai

    The third leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour gathered this weekend some of the world’s best riders and horses in Shanghai in front of the impressive 63-meter high China Art Palace. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Tour, the Swiss watch brand was proud to be associated with the highlight of the Chinese stage, the Longines Global Champions Grand Prix of Shanghai. Longines Ambassador of Elegance Chi Ling Lin attended the event on Saturday, and witnessed the victory of Gregory Wathelet on Coree in the featured competition. The Asian actress, together with Vice President of Longines China Dennis Li, presented Gregory Wathelet an elegant Longines timepiece to celebrate his achievement. The Official Watch of the 2018 Longines Global Champions Tour of Shanghai is a model of Record Collection, a line aspiring to become the spearheads of the brand. Combining classic elegance and excellence, this automatic timepiece houses a chronometer movement with unique properties, certifies by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). After its Asian leg, the Longines Global Champions Tour will return to Europe for the next rounds. The coming competitions will take place in Madrid, Hamburg, Saint Tropez and Cannes. The Tour, which began in Mexico City at end of March, will end in December in Prague, after 17 stages in 17 different cities.

    Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final 2017-2018 - Paris

    On 15 April 2018, Elizabeth Madden (USA) aboard Breitling LS reigned supreme at the 2018 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final by imposing themselves at the three rounds of the final, which were held at the impressive AccorHotels Arena in Paris. Spectators were rewarded with a truly thrilling Final during which American rider Devin Ryan on Eddie Blue took second place ahead of Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann on Toveks Mary Lou. As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of this event, Longines proudly crowned the new World Champion and presented the star rider, along with the second and third, an elegant Longines timepiece. In addition, as the Official Timekeeper of the FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final, Longines was honored to reward German rider Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD, who claimed the final on Saturday 14 of April. Laura Graves (USA) and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (GER) who took respectively second and third place, were also presented with a Longines timepiece.     The Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach kicked off on Thursday, April 5th with international horses and riders vying for points and top honors. On Saturday April 7th, the world’s best individual riders battled for the biggest prize of the weekend in the Longines Global Champions Grand Prix of Miami Beach, with Australia’s Edwina Tops-Alexander and California emerging victorious. Following their impressive victory, Longines US Brand President Pascal Savoy presented Edwina with an elegant Longines watch to mark the occasion. With top points awarded, the LGCT of Miami Beach Grand Prix winner may now advance to the LGCT Super Grand Prix to be held in Prague next December.     Dubai World Cup & Longines Dubai Sheema Classic

    The Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, of which Longines is the Official Timekeeper, is one of the world’s top global venues of thoroughbred racing. As unique as it is prestigious, the Dubai World Cup Carnival hosts a dozen race days from January to the end of March. It closes with the Dubai World Cup, which sees nine races take place during that day, culminating with the eponymous race, claimed this year by Thunder Snow led by Christophe Soumillon.   This feature race was preceded notably by the Longines Dubai Sheema Classic, the most important turf race of the day, won by Hawkbill ridden by William Buick. The Swiss watch brand, represented by Juan-Carlos Capelli, Vice President and Head of International Marketing and Patrick Aoun, Brand Manager for Longines Middle East, was proud to reward the winning connections of the race with elegant Longines timepieces.   A highly anticipated event for the highest level of racing fans, the Dubai World Cup is also distinguished by its elegant attendance.     On 18 March 2018, USA’s Kristen Vanderveen riding Bull Run’s Faustino de Tili earned first place at the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping North American League in Ocala. She was followed by compatriot Brianne Goutal-Marteau on Viva Colombia and Swiss rider Beat Mändli on Galan S.     Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano - Montevideo

    Yesterday, the Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas hosted the 2018 Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano, of which the Swiss watch brand is the proud Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper. Roman Rosso ridden by Wilson Moreyra won the highlight race of the 2018 Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano. The Longines Cup Clásico Diana was claimed by Julio Méndez on Sexy Reasons. As the Official Partner of the Organización Latinoamericana de Fomento del Pura Sangre de Carrera (OSAF), Longines is proud to have timed all the races of the Longines Gran Premio Latinoamericano in Montevideo, Uruguay.     HH Emir's The Trophy presented by Longines 2018

    As Official Partner and Timekeeper of Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, the Swiss watch brand was proud to celebrate the victory of The Blue Eye in the much-anticipated HH The Emir’s Trophy presented by Longines, and to reward the winning connections with elegant Longines timepieces, together with H.H. Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar. During the race day, Longines also presented the Longines Prize for Elegance to Nadia Durepaire, who distinguished herself as the most elegant lady at the racetrack. The HH The Emir’s Trophy presented by Longines marked another successful conclusion to the 3-raceday Emir’s Sword Equestrian Festival. Held annually at the Al Rayyan racetrack, the festival is one of the most definitive equestrian events on Qatar’s horse-racing calendar attended by both a strong local contingent and many from Europe.

    Longines FEI World Cup Western European League - Gothenburg Horse Show 2018

    On Sunday 25 February 2018, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) claimed victory at home on Mary Lou 194 winning the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping in Gothenburg. The talented couple already took the first place at the same leg one year ago. Belgium’s Olivier Philippaerts on H&M Legend of Love arrived second followed by Michael Whitaker (GBR) on JB’s Hot Stuff. As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the entire series, Longines was proud to grant Henrik von Eckermann with an elegant Longines timepiece as a reward for his great win.
