    Longines officially inaugurates its renewed Phnom Penh Boutique

    Strenghtening its presence in Cambodia, the Swiss watch brand Longines celebrated, on 23 August 2019, the reopening of its Phnom Penh Boutique on No.171, St.130, Sangkat Phsar Thmei1, Khan Daun Penh. Spread across 484 square feet, the store displays a large selection of Longines timepieces, including the most iconic watches of the brand as well as its latest models.    Numerous guests attended the event, including retail partners, local celebrities, as well as the Director of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Cambodia. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, the attendees were invited to discover Longines’ elegant boutique and timepieces.%break%The winged hourglass brand took this opportunity to highlight its new models from the HydroConquest collection.  Combining watchmaking excellence and traditional elegance, both hallmarks of the winged hourglass brand, this line features a bezel enhanced with a coloured ceramic insert adding a touch of brilliance and modern styling.     Longines Deauville Classic

    The national anthem of the United States marked the conclusion of the Longines Deauville Classic, as US rider Margie Goldstein-Engle emerged victorious in the Grand Prix CSI 3* Longines de la Région Normandie with her gelding Dicas. Goldstein-Engle defeated France’s Jérome Hurel on As de Mai and Belgium’s Celine Schoonbroodt-de-Azedevo on Cheppetta, who finished second and third respectively. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines Deauville Classic, the Swiss watch brand was proud to present Margie Goldstein-Engle with an elegant timepiece from the hands of Longines France’s Brand Manager, Frédéric Bondoux.

    The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Ireland - Dublin Horse Show

    The seventh and final leg of Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ concluded with the impressive win of Team Great Britain, thus securing their ticket to the Finals in Barcelona in October. Team Italy finished second, while Team Ireland gave the home crowd a podium to celebrate by winning the bronze medal. Acting as the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™, the Swiss watch brand Longines was proud to reward Team Great Britain with elegant Longines timepieces.

    Longines Global Champions Tour of Valkenswaard

    The fifteenth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper, ended this Sunday in Valkenswaard. The weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Valkenswaard, was marked by the victory of Maikel van der Vleuten on Dana Blue. Longines was delighted to present him with an elegant timepiece to celebrate his great performance.   This weekend of intense competition was the perfect occasion for Longines to present the Official Watch of the event, a model from the iconic HydroConquest collection, which combines technical excellence and traditional excellence, both distinguished hallmarks of the brand.     Trained by Henri-Alex Pantall and ridden by Olivier Peslier, French King claimed a brilliant victory at the 129th edition of the Longines Grosser Preis von Baden, ahead of Communique and Old Persian.     Longines FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses

    On Saturday August 3, the numerous spectators at the 2019 Longines FEI/WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo celebrated the champion in the five-year-old category, Jovian, ridden by Andreas Helgstrand, showing lots of technique, uphill movements and an incredible use of his body. On Sunday, the six-year-old final was claimed by Zucchero OLD ridden by Frederic Wanders, while the seven-year-old category was won by d'Avie, led by Severo Jurado Lopez. As the Title Partner of the event, Longines was proud to present the winners with elegant timepieces in recognition for their remarkable talent.

    Longines Global Champions Tour of London

    Riding the talented 10-year-old gelding Explosion W, Ben Maher from Great Britain claimed the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London today in front of a home crowd. Maher was followed by two Irish fellow riders, Shane Sweetnam on Alejandro, who claimed the second place, and Darragh Kenny on Classic Dream, who completed the podium. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the series, Longines was proud to great the winner with an elegant timepiece.

    Longines Global Champions Tour of Berlin 2019

    The thirteenth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper, ended this Sunday in Berlin. The weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Berlin, was marked by the incredible victory of Dani G. Waldman on Lizziemary. Longines was delighted to grant her an elegant timepiece as a reward for her great achievement. As Dani G. Waldman already qualified for the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in November, the golden ticket went to a delighted Ludger Beerbaum (GER) who finished second at this competition. This weekend of intense competition was the perfect occasion for Longines to present the Official Watch of the event, the Conquest V.H.P. “very High Precision” model, representing a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance. This timepiece is equipped with an exclusive movement renowned for its high degree of precision for an analog watch (± 5 seconds/year) and its ability to reset its hands after an impact or exposure to a magnetic field.

    Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of Great Britain The Longines Royal International Horse Show

    On Friday 26 of July 2019, Team Sweden, composed of Fredrik Jonsson on Cold Play, Angelie Essen on Luikan Q, Peder Fredricson on Zacramento and Rolf-Goran Bengtsson on Oak Grove’s Carlyle, earned first place at the FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Great Britain in Hickstead during the Longines Royal International Horse Show. Team Ireland followed ahead of the Italian representatives. During this world-class equestrian event, Longines was also proud to present another highlight of the weekend, the Longines BHS King George V Gold Cup, which took place on Sunday 28 of July and saw the victory of David Will (GER) on Never Walk Alone. The podium was completed by Swedish rider Peder Fredricson on Zacramento and compatriot Fredrik Jonsson on Cold Play. As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ series, the Swiss watchmaking brand was proud to reward the winners of the two competitions with elegant Longines timepieces. In addition, the Swiss watchmaking brand was delighted to present the Official Watch of the event, a model from the Record collection, which combines classic elegance and excellence. Each piece in this line houses a movement including a single-crystal silicon balance with unique properties and is certified as “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

    Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of Athens - Division 2 Qualifier

    For the very first time, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM Division 2 Final took place in Greece during the 2019 Athens Equestrian Festival held at the Markopoulo Olympic Equestrian Center. The highlight competition of the weekend, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM of Greece, was captured by Team Norway composed of Victoria Gulliksen on Papa Roach, Hege C Tidemandsen on Carvis, Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen on Exit of Ice Z and Geir Gulliksen on Gin Chin Van Het Lindenhof. The podium was completed by Team Portugal and Team Poland. Team Norway and Team Portugal thus seized the chance to qualify themselves for the much-awaited Final, which will take place from 3-6 October 2019 at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. In addition, the great winners will compete in the Europe Division 1 for the next season.   On Friday 26 July, Longines was associated with another key competition, the Longines Grand Prix of Athens, claimed by Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (PT) on Kafka V. Heffinck. Wojciech Wojcianiec (POL) and Chintablue arrived second ahead of Geir Gulliksen (NOR) on Gin Chin Van Het Lindenhof. The Swiss watchmaking brand was delighted to grant the winners of both trials with elegant Longines timepieces as a reward for their great performances.
