    Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of Poland - Sopot

    Team Belgium won the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ competition at Sopot on Sunday, while Team Ireland and Team France took second and third place respectively. On Friday evening, Germany’s Daniel Deusser on Jasmien vd Bisschop took the victory in the Longines Grand Prix, followed by Latvia’s Kristaps Neretnieks on Moon Ray and Netherland’s Kevin Jochems on Cristelo.

    Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials

    Successfully defending the title won by his wife Jonelle last year, Tim Pize (NZL) won the Longines CCI5*-L with Ascona M in a nail-biting finish. Tom McEwen (GBR) with Figaro van het Broekxhof and Alex Bragg (GBR) with Zagreb finished second and third respectively.

    Longines Balve Optimum

    Last week, Longines was proud to take part for the first time in the Longines Balve Optimum as its Title Partner, Official Watch and Official Timekeeper. This Show jumping and Dressage competition takes place every summer since 1948 in the German city of Balve. This year, the equestrian event was held from June 13 to June 16.   Longines Marketing Vice President, Matthieu Baumgartner commented: "We are especially proud to associate our name with the Longines Balve Optimum. This new partnership reinforces our long-lasting passion for the equestrian universe, which dates back one century and half. More particularly, we, at Longines, attach a great importance to support events that are aligned with our core values of tradition, elegance and performance, which are perfectly embodied by the Longines Balve Optimum.”   On Sunday, 16 June, the Dressage rider Isabell Werth and her mount Emilio 107 claimed the title of the Longines Grosser Optimum Preis. Later that day, Felix Hassmann and his horse Cayenne WZ won the Longines Optimum Preis show jumping competition. To celebrate their victory, Longines was proud to present the two winners with elegant timepieces.   The spectators present in Balve had the opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event: a model from the HydroConquest Collection. Combining technical excellence and traditional elegance both hallmarks of the winged hourglass brand, this line features a bezel enhanced with a coloured ceramic insert adding a touch of brilliance and modern styling.

    The eighth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper, was rounded off this Saturday in Stockholm with the remarkable home win of Peder Fredricson on H&M All In in the weekend’s highlight competition, namely the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Stockholm. Therefore, Longines was delighted to grant him an elegant timepiece as a reward for his great performance.   This weekend of intense competition was the perfect occasion for Longines to present the Official Watch of the event, a model of the iconic HydroConquest collection, which combines technical excellence and traditional excellence, both distinguished hallmarks of the brand.     On the eve of the much-awaited Prix de Diane Longines, the Swiss watchmaking brand held a special event in the breath-taking setting of the Château de Chantilly with its Ambassadors of Elegance and acclaimed actors Kate Winslet and Simon Baker. Longines was proud to welcome them for the very first time together in a same venue. Before attending this elegant celebration, Kate Winslet and Simon Baker had the opportunity to take part in a joint photoshooting, a premiere for the two actors, highlighting a pair watch from the Record collection. Together with the Longines management, Kate and Simon were delighted to present the exclusive visuals during the celebration.   For this unique and exclusive event, Kate Winslet and Simon Baker highlighted a pair watch from this range in stainless steel and rose gold, perfectly in line with the philosophy of the brand to give its female and male customers a wide range of variations in all of its collections, enabling them to find the perfect fit for their taste and personality. The ladies model features a white mother-of-pearl dial with diamond indexes, while the men piece displays a sunray silver dial with bar indexes. Both watches are mounted on an elegant stainless steel bracelet with a rose gold cap.   The Record collection   The Record collection combines classic elegance and watchmaking excellence. Each piece in this line houses a movement including a single-crystal silicon balance spring with unique properties and which is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).     Terry Pheto welcomed as Longines Family Member

    The Longines Family continues to grow with the entry of the South African actress, film producer and business woman, Terry Pheto. The official welcoming took place on Thursday, 13 June, at the Swiss watchmaker’s headquarters in Saint-Imier (Switzerland), where the new Longines Family Member was welcomed by the brand’s management and given a private tour of the establishment.   “I am particularly honoured to become a Longines Family Member. Today, I have had the chance to visit Longines’ headquarter in Switzerland, discovering the company’s fascinating history. %break%Collaborating with a brand that has been around for such a long time is a tremendous responsibility, but also a great opportunity,” said Terry Pheto.   The South African actress was first welcomed by Longines as a Friend of the Brand in 2017 and their relationship over the past two years has blossomed. Terry Pheto, who shot to fame for her role in the Oscar-winning movie Tsotsi, now joins a select, handpicked, group of Longines Family Members from across the globe representing the brand in different territories.

    As Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch, Longines was proud to time the Russian Federation President’s Cup, which saw the remarkable victory of Myrzabek Kappushev on Centurion in front of thousands of spectators at the Central Moscow Hippodrome.     Longines Grand Prix Großer Preis der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden claimed by Chloe Reid on Luis P

    As its Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, the Swiss watch brand Longines was proud to take part in the newly named Longines PfingstTurnier Wiesbaden held from 7-10 June 7-10, 2019 in the Biebrich Schlosspark, and featuring events in show jumping, dressage, eventing and vaulting. This international fixture was chosen by Longines to announce its new partnership with Dressage rising star Sönke Rothenberger, who finished second with Santiago R in the Longines Grand Prix Kür, won by Ingrid Klimke.   The highlight trial of the event, Longines Grand Prix Großer Preis der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden, was claimed by      Chloe Reid on Luis P, followed by Charlotte Bettendorf on Hope Street and Lucas Porter on C Hunter.   The Swiss watch brand was proud to present Ingrid Klimke and Chloe Reid with elegant Longines timepieces in recognition for the great performance.

    Longines times Sir Winston’s victory at the 2019 Belmont Stakes

    As Preferred Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the 151st Belmont Stakes, Swiss watch brand Longines was proud to time Sir Winston’s win at Belmont Park on Saturday, 8 June 2019.     As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines Global Champions Tour, Longines was proud to witness the victory of Niels Bruynseels on his amazing mare Gancia de Muze in the weekend’s highlight competition, namely the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix. The brand was therefore delighted to grant him an elegant timepiece to celebrate his great performance.   The overall Longines Global Champions Tour ranking battle is already an intense affair, with Daniel Deusser (GER) leading the charge with 190 points, followed by Pieter Devos (BEL) with 178 points and Niels Bruynseels (BEL) with 134 points.
