Longines celebrates art and creativity at the 25ème heure Longines photography competition in Deauville
Longines supported creative talents once again last weekend at the 25ème heure Longines photography competition as its Official Partner in Deauville, France. The event, which takes place every fall when the clocks are set back 1 hour for the end of daylight saving time, invites participants to take a snapshot of the town between midnight and 1am to immortalize this special 25th hour of the day.
The competition encourges everyone to bring their creative flair and give their own vision of this 25th hour. Photos to be taken could be on any subject as long as they are taken in Deauville. This year, the Swiss watchmaker honoured the winner of this photography competition, Nicolas Castro, with an elegant timepiece for his creativity.
This year’s event was the perfect occasion to highlight the Official Watch of the event –the new Mini DolceVita. With its discreet profile, classic styling, and aesthetic variations that are at once timely and timeless, this masterpiece exquisitely expresses, in equal parts, Longines’ quiet luxury and contemporary elegance. The meticulously designed collection was inspired by a Longines legend created in 1927 and the original DolceVita family from 1997. Created in an impressive range of color options and configurations, the new references feature 21.50mm x 29mm stainless steel cases and are available with or without diamond settings.
