Watchmaking tradition

Born of the grand tradition of watchmaking, Longines is steeped in history. A history marked by technical and aesthetic innovations in line with the founders’ ambitions: capture the spirit of the time, be at the cutting edge without being defined by the vagaries of fashion, and achieve excellence without abandoning simplicity. These aspirations are still intact today and can be seen in the various collections of the “Watchmaking Tradition” segment.

HERITAGE CLASSIC

The elegance and simplicity of the Flagship Heritage models have made this Longines collection a timeless classic. These watches combine technical expertise, aesthetics and a tribute to the historic Flagship models. An emblematic line for the brand since the late 1950s, Flagship was one of Longines’ very first collections. The “flagship” flies the flag of the fleet’s Commander-in-Chief. The emblem of the collection, a hand-painted enamel caravel on an 18-carat gold medallion, is revealed on the screw-down case back.
