What makes this timepiece exceptional
This vintage timepiece is a perfectly preserved early model form the Conquest collection. From 1954 onwards, Longines watches were organized by families. Conquest was the first family to be established. The name Conquest was registered in Switzerland on 3 April 1954 at the Federal Office of Intellectual Property.
This Conquest is an early example of a high-quality waterproof automatic steel watch with calendar date. The model 9004 was launched in 1955, its champlevé enamel and 14ct gold medallion inlaid on the case back symbolizes all the qualities guaranteed by the brand: automatic movement manufactured by Longines that guarantees high accuracy – as well as waterproofness, anti-magnetism and protection against shocks.
