LONGINES PILOT MAJETEK

On 1 April 1935, Longines registered the Pilot Majetek model with the International Bureau of Industrial Property in Bern, Switzerland. Initially designed for aviators, this timepiece has gradually won over a wider public looking for a reliable, robust and precise watch. Almost a century later, the brand has revived this unique pilot's watch with completely revised technical and ergonomic features. A major technical challenge, its bidirectional fluted bezel with internal “starting time indicator”, mounted on a cushion-shaped case, asserts its innovative character and recalls the 1935 model that inspired it. These chronometer-certified watches are powered by an exclusive Longines calibre equipped with a silicon balance-spring and resistant to magnetic fields.
