Lara Colturi (born 2006) is a promising young alpine skier who competes in the World Cup. She joined the Longines Athletes family in 2024.
In November 2022, at the age of 16, she made her FIS Alpine Ski World Cup debut, competing in the slalom in Levi (FIN), then in the giant slalom in Killington (USA), where she placed seventeenth. That same season, she won gold in the super-G and bronze in the giant slalom at the FIS Junior World Championships in St. Anton (Austria).
During the 2023/2024 season, she achieved six Top 15 finishes at World Cup qualifiers and earned enough points to take part in the World Cup finals in Saalbach (AUT). Coached by her parents Daniela Ceccarelli (Olympic super-G champion in 2002) and Alessandro Colturi (alpine ski coach), she is tipped by experts and the media for a big future in alpine skiing.
Lara's aim is to ‘ski faster and better while still having fun’. The 2024/2025 season has seen her achieve the dream of every racer ─ a first FIS World Cup podium ─ which came in November 2024, when she claimed second place in the slalom at Gurgl (AUT).
Colturi followed this up with a second place in the giant slalom at Kranjska Gora (SLO) in early January 2025, and a third place in the giant slalom at Åre (SWE) in March. A specialist in technical events, Lara finished eighth overall in the World Cup, tenth in the slalom and fifth in the giant slalom.
