The oversized case permits perfect reading of the graduated bezel, the generously sized minute-counter and tenths of a second. The case with its hardened mineral glass will stand up to a pressure of 20 atmospheres, enabling the diver to go down to a depth of 650 feet. This wrist-chronograph patented by Longines is equipped with a seconds hand including a graduated scale of the “Vernier” type at its end, enabling readings to the nearest tenth of a second to be taken quickly and accurately. The chronograph movement manufactured by Longines incorporates even a flyback mechanism.
