The young show jumping Swiss prodigy and Longines Family member Bryan Balsiger inspires the new generation of riders with his drive for excellence.

His favorite collection

Longines Equestrian Ambassador Bryan Balsiger

The rising star of international show jumping Bryan Balsiger has stood out with his talent since the beginning of his career and has established himself as one of the sport’s best riders. Born into a family of riders who run an equestrian center in Corcelles (Switzerland) where he grew up, Bryan rapidly saw horse riding as an obvious choice in his life, having taken up the reins for the first time when he was just 5 years old. With his family as a real source of inspiration, Bryan has been developing his career alongside his father, who is also his trainer.

Despite his young age, the talented rider already has an impressive track record of victories. After becoming the European Young Riders champion in 2017 in Samorin (Slovakia), he made his debut in the Elite category in 2018 and claimed victory at the Swiss Championship in Humlikon.

He then joined the Swiss team the same year and took part in the Final of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM in Barcelona.  In 2019, with the same team, he won one of the qualifying stages of the series in La Baule, France, before achieving a memorable victory on Clouzot de Lassus at the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM in Oslo.

The young talent also won for the second time the Swiss Champion title with Ak's Courage the following year, and in 2021, he took home the gold medal at the Longines FEI European Championships in Riesenbeck as part of the Swiss team and finished as a top-15 rider in the individual competition.

After these results, he was ranked in the top 35 riders in the world for the first time and became the number one rider under the age of 25. 2022 was full of victories for Bryan Balsiger with the highlights of the year with him being crowned the Swiss Champion for the third time and winning the Longines Grand Prix of Ascona CSI 4*.
