Longines FEI Eventing European Championships

From 28 August to 1 September 2019, Longines was proud to be the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the 2019 Longines FEI Eventing European Championships, which gathered in Luhmühlen (GER) the best riders and horses of the discipline for five days of intense competitions. Requiring both the horses to be extremely versatile and the riders to have exceptional skills, the Eventing discipline perfectly illustrates Longines’ values, as it requires elegance of dressage, precision of show jumping, as well as speed and courage of cross-country.

Successfully defending the title won by his wife Jonelle last year, Tim Pize (NZL) won the Longines CCI5*-L with Ascona M in a nail-biting finish. Tom McEwen (GBR) with Figaro van het Broekxhof and Alex Bragg (GBR) with Zagreb finished second and third respectively.

Longines Grand Prix Großer Preis der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden claimed by Chloe Reid on Luis P

As its Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, the Swiss watch brand Longines was proud to take part in the newly named Longines PfingstTurnier Wiesbaden held from 7-10 June 7-10, 2019 in the Biebrich Schlosspark, and featuring events in show jumping, dressage, eventing and vaulting. This international fixture was chosen by Longines to announce its new partnership with Dressage rising star Sönke Rothenberger, who finished second with Santiago R in the Longines Grand Prix Kür, won by Ingrid Klimke.

Germany’s Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD claimed the 2018 FEI World Cup Dressage Final

On Saturday 14 April 2018, Isabell Werth (GER) and Weihegold OLD reigned supreme at the FEI World Cup Dressage Final held at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris. Laura Graves (USA) and Verdades took second place ahead of Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (GER) and Unee BB completing the podium. Longines is the Official Timekeeper and Watch of the 2017 Luhmühlen CCI**** presented by DHL, held from 15 to 18 June 2017. This event comprises the three legs of dressage, cross country and jumping, and culminates on Sunday with rewarding the best at all three events. On Thursday 15 June, HRH The Princess Royal, who was honored with the Longines Ladies Awards in 2016 for her dedication to equestrian sports, attended the Luhmühlen Horse Trials for its 60th anniversary. Back in 1975, when the European Eventing Championships were organized in Luhmühlen, she won individual and team silver.
