Longines honored the winner of the 25ème heure Longines photo competition in Deauville
This weekend, Longines was proud to be the Official Partner of the 25ème heure Longines photo competition in Deauville, France. The event took place on the night of October 29 to 30 in Deauville for the fifth consecutive year. The Swiss watchmaker rewarded Mr. Matthieu Lott, the author of the most beautiful photograph, with an elegant timepiece from The Longines Master Collection.
A symbol of Longines’ watchmaking expertise, The Longines Master Collection model is featuring a moon phase indicator on a mother-of-pearl dial that echoes the delicate shades of the moon illuminating Deauville at night.
The 25ème heure Longines competition, which is held every year on the occasion of the end of daylight saving time when the clocks are set back, invites participants to take a snapshot around the town between midnight and 1am to immortalize this special 25th hour of the day. The theme is free but has to be shot in Deauville: the competition allows everyone to give their own vision of this special “hour”. This year, more than three hundred participants gave their imaginary perception of the 25ème heure Longines in Deauville.
