    On Saturday 29 July, Katie Walsh on Georgian Bay won The Longines International Handicap Stakes at Ascot. The winning connections received elegant Longines watches from the hands of Maxime de Turckheim, Brand Manager of Longines UK, for this amazing performance. The highlight race of the day, the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes, was claimed by Enable.

    Longines Global Champions Tour of Berlin

    Berlin hosted the Longines Global Champions Tour for the very first time this weekend. The eleventh leg of the series gathered the best international riders and horses of the world at The Sommergarten at the Funkturm. As Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the 15-leg circuit, Longines is proud to have presented the highlight competition of the event, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Berlin won by Germand rider Christian Ahlmann on Codex One. This competition allows the riders to score points for the Longines Global Champions Tour Ranking and for the Longines FEI Rankings. At the moment, after 11 legs, Harrie Smolders from Netherlands is number one with 252 points. Launched in April in Mexico City, the circuit will end in November in Doha. Longines is proud to lend its name to this 5* show jumping competition and provide its timekeeping expertise to all its trials. The Longines Global Champions Tour of Berlin offered the perfect opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event, a new variation of The Longines Master Collection featuring a blue dial adorned with diamond indexes.     Casas Novas Summer Edition - La Coruna

    As the Official Partner and Watch of the CSI A Coruña, Longines timed the Casas Novas Jumping Competition held in La Coruña and presented the Longines Trophy, one of the highlight of the event. This competition held on Saturday 29 July 2017 was won by Canadian rider Yann Candele on Usa Normande. The spectators of this world class show jumping event had the opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the 2017 edition: a new men’s model belonging to The Longines Master Collection featuring a blue dial.

    Jumping Longines Crans Montana

    It was one of the highlights of this year’s Jumping Longines of Crans-Montana: The prestigious „Longines Grand Prix “, qualifying for the 2018 World Equestrian Games of Tryon, was won by Swiss rider Barbara Schnieper and her For Winja. She was followed by Guillaume Delhaye (CH) with Richebour de Cartigny on the second and Werner Muff (CH) with Crosby on the third place. The winner received an elegant Longines watch from Christophe Jeanneret, Longines Brand Manager Swiss Market. Longines took this occasion to continue its support for the JustWorld foundation devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty and helping children thrive. The Official Watch of this year’s Jumping Longines Crans-Montana is an elegant ladies model set with diamonds of The Longines Equestrian Collection, created as an allegory of the equestrian world. This timepiece repeats the lines of the rectangular buckle found on the show bridle of the only Swiss horse breed, the Franches-Montagnes.     FEI Nations Cup - Division 1 - The Longines Royal International Horse Show - Hickstead

    On Friday 28 July, Team Brazil claimed the title at the FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping of Great Britain presented by Longines, which was held in Hickstead during the Longines Royal International Horse Show. As the Presenting Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of this unique event, Longines was also associated with the Longines King George V Gold Cup, which was won by Yurl Mansur (Brazil) on Babylotte on Sunday 30 July. The spectators of the show had the opportunity to discover the event’s Official Watch, a lady model of The Longines Equestrian Collection, inspired by the rectangular buckle on the show bridle of the only Swiss horse breed, the Franches-Montagnes.

    Longines welcomes the 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton in Canada

    The Queen’s Baton Relay started its cross-Canada journey on July 27 with a visit to the Longines Boutique in Toronto. It was launched at Buckingham Palace on March 13, 2017. The Baton travels through 70 Commonwealth nations and territories and cover close to 230,000 kilometers. The journey will end in Australia at the Opening Ceremony of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games on April 4, 2018. As Official Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Longines is proud to have welcomed the Queen’s Baton in its Boutique in Toronto on July 27. On this occasion, multiple medal-winning Canadian athletes Curt Harnett and Alexandra Orlando joined the Swiss watch brand and discussed their personal Commonwealth Games experiences. The Queen’s Baton relay will then travel across Canada before revert to Europe by middle of August. Longines is also Presenting Partner for a number of sports of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games including Track & Field, Gymnastics, Rugby Sevens and Table Tennis.

    Longines Official Timekeeper and Watch of the 2017 Endurance Rides at Euston Park

    Longines is proud to be the Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Endurance rides that are taking place at Euston Park. This competition includes 80, 120 and 160 kilometers rides and offers the opportunity for top riders and horses from all over the world to compete at the stunning Suffolk venue. On Saturday 22 July 2017, Mansour Saeed Mohd Al Faresi (UAE) earned first place at the 160 kilometers course of the third ride at Euston Park.  Longines had the honor to award the winner an elegant Longines watch belonging to The Longines Master Collection, which was also the Official Watch of the event.

    Longines CSI Ascona

    After a thrilling competition, today’s “Gran Premio Longines di Ascona” saw the victory of German  rider Hans-Dieter Dreher on Berlinda. He was followed by Michael Whitaker  from UK  with Calisto Blue on the second and Wilm Vermeir from Belgium with Iq van het Steentje on the third place. The winner received an elegant Longines watch from Barbara Puzella, Longines Switzerland. The Swiss watch brand supports this newly 5* equestrian event in Ascona as Title Partner and Official Timekeeper and being so associated to the highest ranked horse show taking place in the Italian speaking part of the country.     Mahati and Vincent Cheminaud clinched the victory of the Longines Handicap de la Fête Nationale

    The Saint-Cloud racecourse hosted the FG Garden Party – Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris and its eight flat races on 14th July. Vincent Cheminaud riding Mahati crossed first the finishing line of the second race of the day, the Longines Grand Handicap de la Fête Nationale. Besides, the visitors of the FG Garden Party had the opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event, a new variation of The Longines Master Collection displaying a sunray blue dial. This fashionable chromatic variation is perfectly in line with the classic and understated spirit of this collection. The elegant timepiece, housing a mechanical self-winding movement, is complimented by a blue alligator watch strap.

    FEI Nations Cup - Division 1 - Falsterbo International Horse Show presented by Longines

    On July 14, at the Falsterbo Horse Show presented by Longines, the Swiss watchmaker timed the victory of Team Netherlands at the 6th leg of the FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping presented by Longines. As the Presenting Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of this important event, Longines was proud to be associated with another highlight of the competition: The Longines Grand Prix, held on Sunday July 16 and won by Steve Guerdat (CH) riding Hannah.
