The 171st edition of the Prix de Diane Longines held at the idyllic Chantilly racecourse on July 5th 2020, saw the triumph of Fancy Blue ridden by Pierre-Charles Boudot. The French jockey claimed victory for the second consecutive year as he already took first place in 2019 with Channel. Second place was taken by Alpine Star and Stéphane Pasquier followed by Peaceful ridden by James Anthony Heffernan. The three winning fillies have one thing in common, all three are trained in Ireland.
As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the event, Longines was proud to celebrate Fancy Blue’s performance by granting her owners, trainer and jockey with elegant timepieces.
The Official Watch of the 2020 Prix de Diane Longines
This edition of the Prix de Diane Longines was also an occasion for the brand to highlight the Longines DolceVita collection. Since its creation in 1997, this line has been an ode to the Italian sweet life. Soft and bright, warm and glamorous, like relaxing deep in thought on the terrace of a village square, strolling through the side streets of Rome, or enjoying a charming seaside respite. Inspired by a model from the 1920s and characterized by its rectangular case, this collection has grown over the years without ever losing its identity.
