Almond Eye wins the 2020 Japan Cup in association with Longines

On Sunday, November 29, the iconic Tokyo Racecourse hosted the 40th Japan Cup in association with Longines. As the Official Partner and Official Timekeeper of this thrilling sports event, Longines was proud to time the victory of Almond Eye, ridden by Christophe Lemaire, in the feature race, and to present the winning team with elegant timepieces. The champion Japanese mare, who won the race for the second time, was followed by Contrail and Daring Tact.

 

Established in Tokyo since 1981, the Japan Cup in association with Longines is a 2400 meters international Group 1 turf race for horses aged 3 years or older. The event is the biggest race in the country and belongs to the most prestigious ones in the world.
