    Royal Ascot

    This week, the best horses and jockeys in the world gathered at the Ascot Racecourse (UK) to compete in the most prestigious races of Royal Ascot and strive to etch their names in the history of an event steeped in prestige and excellence. As a dedicated supporter of equestrian sports, the Swiss watch brand Longines is privileged to take part in this revered horseracing meeting as its Official Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch. Under the current exceptional circumstances of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Longines showed its support in ensuring the safety of every team and attendee by strictly following the safety precautions and health guidelines of the event.   On Tuesday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 16, the finest horses and jockeys of the discipline competed for two of the most coveted prizes of the event by displaying the highest level of passion, precision and determination.  Following the remarkable triumph of Berkshire Shadow in the Coventry Stakes, Longines presented elegant Longines timepieces to the winning owner, Paul Spickett, trainer Andrew Balding and jockey Oisin Murphy. The following day, Longines further demonstrated its support for the exacting standards set by the leading horse and jockey combinations by rewarding the jockey William Buick, trainer Charlie Appleby and owner Godolphin of Kemari, the winner of the Queen’s Vase with elegant Longines watches.     Longines Jumping International de La Baule

    Longines was privileged to take part in the 60th anniversary of the Longines Jumping International of La Baule this year for four days of exhilarating competitions at the François André stadium in La Baule, France. The highlight competition on Friday, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM of France, was captured by the remarkable victory of the winner -Team Switzerland consisting of Elian Baumann on  Campari Z ,  Steve Guerdat on Albfuehren's Maddox, Martin Fuchs on Conner 70 and Beat Mandli on Dsarie. Team Italy and Team Belgium came in second and third, respectively, displaying passion and precision in the thrilling competition, elements that are essential to reach new heights in their future performance. On this occasion, the CEO of Longines, Matthias Breschan, presented elegant Longines timepieces to Team Switzerland to further support excellence that permeates all levels of the sport.    On Sunday June 13, Longines was honoured to present the Longines Grand Prix and to support JustWorld International through the “Longines Clear the Jump” activity. This time, 200 meals were offered to some of the most vulnerable children in the world each time the Longines jump was cleared. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly Nicolas Delmotte on Urvoso du Roch who lived up to expectations by winning the Longines Grand Prix. Laurent Goffinet on Atome Des Etisses arrived second ahead of Martin Fuchs on Leone Jei. To foster excellence and elegance inherent in the sport, the Brand Manager of Longines France, Olivier Pacini rewarded the winner with an elegant Longines timepiece for his outstanding performance in this competition.%break%During this event, Longines was proud to present the Official Watch, a timelessly elegant timepiece from La Grande Classique de Longines.     Elegant Celebration of Longines’ newest Boutique in Kunming

    Elegance was at the heart of today’s Grand Opening of Longines newest boutique in Kunming, China, as the brand was joined on this special occasion by its Ambassador of Elegance Zhao Liying. The acclaimed actress addressed a few words to the guests and devoted fans in attendance and took part in the ritual ribbon-cutting ceremony, which officially marked the inauguration of the flagship store spread across 94 square meters. Illustrating Longines’ renowned elegance, it features the brand’s most iconic collections, as well as its latest models. Following their visit of the boutique, attendees were invited to discover the Longines Master Collection exhibition, located right beside the store and open to the public until June 22, 2021. The new Longines Boutique is located at the Kunming Shuncheng Shopping Center, 1F, No.13 Dongfengxi Road, Wuhua District, Kunming.

    Longines CSIO St-Gallen

    At the Longines Grand Prix der Schweiz on Friday, Nayel Nassar (EGY) on Igor van de Wittemoere won the competition, followed by Scott Brash (GBR) on Hello Vincent und Philipp Weishaupt (GER) on Coby 8. The winner was honored by Matthias Breschan, CEO of the brand, with an elegant Longines watch. It was one of the highlights of this year’s Longines CSIO St.Gallen: The prestigious Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Switzerland was won by Team Sweden. It was followed by the German team on the second and the Swiss team on the third place. The winner team received an elegant Longines watch from Jacqueline Fazio, Brand Manager Switzerland.%break%The Official Watch of this year’s event is a model of the collection Longines DolceVita.
