At home on the Commonwealth Games stage
When Alice Kinsella competes at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, she’ll be coming home in more ways than one. She was raised in Birmingham so she’s clearly no stranger to the city. But she also distinguished herself at the previous edition in 2018, when her three medals included an individual gold on the beam apparatus, a silver in the team event and a bronze in the all-around competition. Longines is thrilled that this brilliant young gymnast is part of its Commonwealth Games Team and looks forward to sharing her return to her hometown and her performance at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Following her success at the Commonwealth Games in 2018, Alice’s international success continued when she became the first British woman to win European gold on the beam apparatus at the European Championships in Szczecin, Poland in 2019. And as a member of Team GB, she claimed a medal in Tokyo in the summer of 2021 at the world’s most prestigious sporting competition
Alice Kinsella is looking forward to defending her Commonwealth Games title in Birmingham and in preparation for the event, has continued her rigorous training programme. Her busy schedule will also include the European and World Championships where she is poised to add to an already-incredible legacy.
