Longines celebrates the elegance of equestrian sports with a new chronograph
Longines is very proud to be the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper of the Longines CSI St. Moritz. Furthermore, the brand presents the Longines Grand Prix of St. Moritz on Saturday. The Official Watch of the event is the elegant and timeless Conquest Classic Moonphase, a chronograph dedicated to equestrian sports enthusiasts. With its rich equestrian heritage dating back to 1878, Longines was keen to celebrate one of the essential dimensions of the equestrian sports: elegance. Building on the success of the Conquest Classic line, the Swiss watch brand has come with a new chronograph with a moon phase display: the Conquest Classic Moonphase, subtly combining the brand’s watchmaking tradition, sports heritage and innate sense of sophistication. This model will appeal to those who are looking for a refined chronograph to be worn amidst the excitement of the most prestigious equestrian events all over the world. With a diameter of 42 mm, this chronograph houses the self-winding mechanical chronograph movement L678. The case is available in steel, in steel and rose gold cap or in 18 carats rose gold. The black or silvered dial is set with 9 applied indices coated with Super-LumiNova® and makes an elegantly contrasting background to the moon phase display. Water-resistant to 5 bar, these models display a transparent case back through which their scintillating movement can be observed.
