Longines lives the dolce vita in Rome

True ode to the Italian sweet life, Longines DolceVita draws its inspiration from an historical piece from the 1920’s. Since its creation in 1997, the line has developed as many variations as there are ways of living and expressing the dolce vita. To unveil the 2019 novelties of this collection, the Swiss watch brand invited its guests at the Villa Aurelia, a typical Italian mansion located near Rome, which perfectly matches with the spirit of the timepieces presented.

Longines unveiled a new system of interchangeable coloured straps to personalize your DolceVita watch as well as new dials in white and blue starry night. An additional XL case size, which perfectly suits men wrists, was also introduced.

The Longines DolceVita event in Rome was also the occasion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of partnership between the brand and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

To pay tribute to the elegance and the charm of the beautiful Indian actress, the Swiss watch brand created a special watch from the Longines DolceVita collection.

Limited to 5 pieces, the Longines DolceVita Elegance celebration – Limited Edition combines rose gold, diamonds, white mother-of-pearl and turquoise blue. On the occasion of the Longines DolceVita event in Rome, Walter von Känel, President of Longines had the pleasure to present the watch number 5 to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan herself.
