Daniel Deusser and Tobago Z claimed the Longines Grand Prix at Equita Longines, le Salon du Cheval de Lyon
Longines is proud to be for the first time this year the Title Partner of Equita Longines, le Salon du Cheval de Lyon, of which the brand has been the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch since 2013. During this event, known as the biggest equestrian gathering in Europe, the Swiss watchmaking brand had the pleasure to present the Longines Grand Prix, one of the key show jumping competitions. This trial brought together nearly fifty rider/horse couples, offering the spectators outstanding performance and achievement at the highest level of sport. German rider Daniel Deusser and his mount set themselves apart by successfully claiming this trial. Steve Guerdat (SWI) and Bianca took the second place followed by Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and H&M Legend of Love. Daniel Deusser, the winner of this world-class competition was granted an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Juan-Carlos Capelli, Longines Vice President and Head of International Marketing.
On the same day, the Swiss watchmaker also had the pleasure to time the performances of the Dressage riders during the leg of the FEI Dressage World CupTM. This competition was claimed by Germany’s Isabell Werth on Emilio ahead of Patrik Kittel (SWE) on Delatio and Antonia Ramel (SWE) on Brother de Jeu.
