This year, the program of the Prix de Diane Longines, of which Longines is the Title Partner, the Official Timekeeper and the Official Watch, expanded and began with the first race day on Saturday 17 June. The following day features the highlight race, the Prix de Diane Longines, which will be attended by Longines Ambassador of Elegance Mikaela Shiffrin.
Thus, on 17 June 2017, the South African jockey Mpumelelo Mjoka’s talent allowed him to win aboard Beaupreau the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars. The lady jockey Diana Lopez Leret and Beruska also crossed first the finishing line of the Prix de La Reine Marie-Amélie Longines.
These two races put in the spotlight the remarkable skills of young jockeys from all around the world and the lady riders of the International Federation of Gentlemen and Lady Riders (FEGENTRI), of which the Swiss brand is the Official Partner and Watch.
The spectators of the event are offered the opportunity to discover the Official Watch, which is the new blue lady model The Longines Master Collection. The stainless steel piece displays a sunray blue dial with diamond index matching its blue alligator strap, and houses an automatic movement. Centuries of watchmaking expertise stand behind this collection. Its timepieces are notable as much for their intrinsic quality as for their style made up of balanced designs. Besides, the watch brand organizes a launch party for this new model in the French capital on Saturday 17 June.
