The 2019 edition of the Jumping Mechelen, held from 26-30 December 2019 In the Belgian city was host to the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League’s leg. This exciting show jumping competition was marked by the victory of Germany’s Daniel Deusser on Killer Queen VDM. Swiss rider Pius Schwizer on Cortney Cox ranked second followed by Wilm Vermeir on IQ van het Steentje on his home soil. Longines was glad to reward Daniel Deusser with an elegant timepiece to celebrate his great performance.

Longines is delighted to be associated as the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ series (Western European League, North American League and China League), at which riders compete for the qualifying points for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Las Vegas in April 2020.

On Saturday 21 December 2019, Swiss rider Martin Fuchs and his mount The Sinner, jumped to victory in the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM during Olympia, the London International Horse Show. Austria’s Max Kühner on Elektric Blue P took second place followed by Belgian rider Niels Bruynseels on Delux van T & L. The winner of this exciting competition received an elegant Longines watch by the Swiss watchmaking brand, which is the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Western European League.

Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was proud to be the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines Masters of Paris, which ended today with the great achievement of Simon Delestre and Hermes Ryan, winners of the 2019 Longines Grand Prix of Paris on home soil. The podium was completed by compatriots Kevin Staut on For Joy van’t Zorgvliet HDC, who earned second place and Roger-Yves Bost on Sangria du Coty, who secured third place. This glamorous equestrian gathering was also the opportunity for Longines to welcome its Ambassador of Elegance Jung Woo-Sung, who together with Charles Villoz, Longines Vice President Sales, granted Simon Delestre an elegant timepiece.

On Friday night, Longines had the pleasure to participate as its Founding Partner in the 5th edition of the Riders Masters Cup. This unique show jumping competition opposed the two world equestrian powers, Europe and the American continent. In front of an ecstatic crowd and at the end of 10 spectacular duels, Team Europe composed of Martin Fuchs, Kevin Staut, Jos Verlooy, Darragh Kenny and Henrik von Eckermann took the win for the fifth time.

On Saturday December 7, Longines timed the muchawaited Longines Speed Challenge, known as the world’s fastest trial and claimed by Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano on Carlotta 232. Eric Lamaze (CAN) and his mount Fine Lady 5 finished second ahead of Steve Guerdat (SWI) on Ulysse des Forêts. The winner of this competition was also presented with an elegant watch in celebration of his remarkable performance.

During the 2019 edition of the Longines Masters of Paris, the Swiss watchmaking brand was proud to present a model of its emblematic line, The Longines Master Collection, as the Official Watch of the event. Launch of the 2019 edition of the Longines Masters of Paris

As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the Longines Masters Series, Swiss watch brand Longines is looking forward to taking part in the 11th edition of the Longines Masters of Paris, held from 5-8 December 2019 at the Parc des Expositions of Paris Nord Villepinte and gathering a total of 145 riders from 30 different countries and 350 horses for four days of thrilling competitions.

 

During the Longines Masters of Paris, the Swiss watchmaking brand is delighted to lend its name to two of the weekend’s highlight competitions, the Longines Speed Challenge – known as the world’s fastest trial – and the much-awaited Longines Grand Prix, taking place on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

 

The latest will be the perfect opportunity for Longines to welcome its Ambassador of Elegance and Korean actor Jung Woo-Sung.%break%This glamorous equestrian rendezvous will also host the Riders Masters Cup, of which Longines is the Founding Partner. Frank Schuttert on Queensland E won the Longines Trophy Grand Prix of Maastricht

From 8-10 November, Longines was proud to take part in the 2019 Jumping Indoor Maastricht, held in the eponymous Dutch city, as the main Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of this much-awaited equestrian rendezvous.

On Saturday, Longines was delighted to be the Presenting Partner of the spectacular FEI Driving World CupTM. claimed by Boyd Exell, from the Netherlands.

On Sunday, the event was rounded off with the victory of Frank Schuttert on Queensland E in the Longines Trophy Grand Prix of Maastricht. The Dutch rider was followed by Leopold van Asten (NL) on VDL Groep Miss Untouchable  and Maikel van der Vleuten (NL) on Beauville Z.

 

The 2019 Jumping Indoor Maastricht was a perfect opportunity for Longines to highlight the Official Watch of the event, a blue model from the HydroConquest collection. Highly technical and innovative ceramic has been added to the bezel of the new HydroConquest watches. Available in grey, black or blue, this scratch-resistant insert matches the colour of the dial, ties together the fully modernized design and sporty silhouette of this collection.

Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was delighted to partner with Jumping Verona and to lend its name to the key competition, the fourth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Western European League. The trial was successfully claimed by Scott Brash (GB) on Hello M’lady. Second place was taken by Ireland’s rider  Darragh Kenny on Romeo followed by Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Alamo, landing at third. This qualifying leg allows its talented participants to accumulate points for the much-awaited Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Final to be held in Las Vegas, in April 2020.


Organized by Veronafiere, Jumping Verona offered to the spectators in attendance four days of intense competitions. The event was also the opportunity for Longines to cheer up its Ambassador of Elegance Jane Richard Philips, who participated in the highlight competition.


During the 2019 edition of the event, the Swiss watchmaking brand was proud to present, as the Official Watch, a Conquest V.H.P “Very High Collection” model. The timepieces in this line are equipped with an exclusive movement renowned for its high degree of precision for an analog watch (± 5 seconds/year) and its ability to reset its hands after an impact or exposure to a magnetic field.
