Swiss rider Martin Fuchs celebrates his epic win of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ at the Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International
The Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International, known as the biggest annual equestrian gathering in Europe was staged at Eurexpo Lyon from October 27th to 31st in Lyon, France. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of this spectacular event, Longines witnessed 5 days of unrivalled performances delivered by some of the world’s prominent riders and continued solidifying its support for these fine talents who left indelible marks on this elite-level event.
On Sunday October 31st, Longines was proud to time the brilliant victory of Martin Fuchs on Chaplin in the second leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League. The horse-rider combination gave the fervent spectators the thrills they had been waiting for with his absolute accuracy and consistency in the competition. Joining him for this victorious moment were Eduardo Pereira De Menezes of Brazil on H5 Chaganus and Max Kühner of Austria on Elektric Blue P who came in second and third, respectively. An elegant Longines timepiece was presented to Martin Fuchs for his marvellous performance.
