Team Switzerland claims victory to mark the 60th anniversary of the Longines Jumping International of La Baule
Longines was privileged to take part in the 60th anniversary of the Longines Jumping International of La Baule this year for four days of exhilarating competitions at the François André stadium in La Baule, France. The highlight competition on Friday, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM of France, was captured by the remarkable victory of the winner -Team Switzerland consisting of Elian Baumann on Campari Z , Steve Guerdat on Albfuehren's Maddox, Martin Fuchs on Conner 70 and Beat Mandli on Dsarie. Team Italy and Team Belgium came in second and third, respectively, displaying passion and precision in the thrilling competition, elements that are essential to reach new heights in their future performance. On this occasion, the CEO of Longines, Matthias Breschan, presented elegant Longines timepieces to Team Switzerland to further support excellence that permeates all levels of the sport.
On Sunday June 13, Longines was honoured to present the Longines Grand Prix and to support JustWorld International through the “Longines Clear the Jump” activity. This time, 200 meals were offered to some of the most vulnerable children in the world each time the Longines jump was cleared. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly Nicolas Delmotte on Urvoso du Roch who lived up to expectations by winning the Longines Grand Prix. Laurent Goffinet on Atome Des Etisses arrived second ahead of Martin Fuchs on Leone Jei. To foster excellence and elegance inherent in the sport, the Brand Manager of Longines France, Olivier Pacini rewarded the winner with an elegant Longines timepiece for his outstanding performance in this competition.
