Known as the biggest sporting event on the Dubai calendar, the Dubai World Cup is held on the last Saturday of March at Meydan Racecourse and is the pinnacle of the United Arab Emirates' racing season, which ends two weeks later. As Official Timekeeper of all events organised by the Meydan Group, Longines was proud to time the nine races of the Dubai World Cup, including the eponymous race, claimed by Mystic Guide, led by Luis Saez. The other feature race of the day, the Longines Dubai Sheema Classic, was won by Mishriff, in front of Chrono Genesis and Loves Only You.
