Welsh athletes adds to impressive resume with world record

Inspiring Welsh athlete Hollie Arnold MBE took out the women’s F46 javelin final with a world record throw of 44.43 metres at Carrara Stadium on Monday night. Arnold was too good for New Zealand’s Holly Robinson, who pushed her all the way. It was another gold medal title for the 23-year-old, who has also an Olympic gold medal and a number of world championship wins to her name.

As Official Timekeeper and partner of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Longines will acknowledged all world record holders with the Longines Records Ceremonies at the Longines Records Club, in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.

Athletes or teams who break the world record and come to the Longines Records Ceremonies will be presented with the Conquest V.H.P. Commonwealth Games watch.
