    Jumping Verona

    Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was delighted to partner with Jumping Verona and to lend its name to the key competition, the fourth leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Western European League. The trial was successfully claimed by Scott Brash (GB) on Hello M’lady. Second place was taken by Ireland’s rider  Darragh Kenny on Romeo followed by Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Alamo, landing at third. This qualifying leg allows its talented participants to accumulate points for the much-awaited Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Final to be held in Las Vegas, in April 2020. Organized by Veronafiere, Jumping Verona offered to the spectators in attendance four days of intense competitions. The event was also the opportunity for Longines to cheer up its Ambassador of Elegance Jane Richard Philips, who participated in the highlight competition. During the 2019 edition of the event, the Swiss watchmaking brand was proud to present, as the Official Watch, a Conquest V.H.P “Very High Collection” model. The timepieces in this line are equipped with an exclusive movement renowned for its high degree of precision for an analog watch (± 5 seconds/year) and its ability to reset its hands after an impact or exposure to a magnetic field. These attractive features are likely responsible for its exceptional movement status, to which a very long battery life and a perpetual calendar must be added.

    Frank Schuttert on Queensland E won the Longines Trophy Grand Prix of Maastricht

    From 8-10 November, Longines was proud to take part in the 2019 Jumping Indoor Maastricht, held in the eponymous Dutch city, as the main Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of this much-awaited equestrian rendezvous. On Saturday, Longines was delighted to be the Presenting Partner of the spectacular FEI Driving World CupTM. claimed by Boyd Exell, from the Netherlands. On Sunday, the event was rounded off with the victory of Frank Schuttert on Queensland E in the Longines Trophy Grand Prix of Maastricht. The Dutch rider was followed by Leopold van Asten (NL) on VDL Groep Miss Untouchable  and Maikel van der Vleuten (NL) on Beauville Z.   The 2019 Jumping Indoor Maastricht was a perfect opportunity for Longines to highlight the Official Watch of the event, a blue model from the HydroConquest collection. Highly technical and innovative ceramic has been added to the bezel of the new HydroConquest watches. Available in grey, black or blue, this scratch-resistant insert matches the colour of the dial, ties together the fully modernized design and sporty silhouette of this collection.

    LONGINES EQUITA LYON - Concours Hippique International

    Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was glad to take part in Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International as its Title Partner and Official Timekeeper. This world-class event reached climax today with the third leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Western European League, won by Martin Fuchs (CH) on Clooney 51. The podium was completed by American rider Jessica Springsteen on RMF Zecilie, who earned second place and Pieter Devos (BEL) on Claire Z who secured third place. This qualifying leg allows its talented participants to accumulate points for the much-awaited Final taking place in Las Vegas, in April 2020.   On Friday 1st of November, the brand timed the second Jumping highlight trial of the event, the Longines Grand Prix, which was claimed by Kevin Staut on Urhelia Lutterbach on their home soil. Compatriot Alexis Deroubaix and his mount Timon d’Aure finished second ahead of Martin Fuchs (CH) on Silver Shine. The winners of both trials were presented with elegant timepieces from the hands of Matthieu Baumgartner, Longines Vice President Marketing.   Known as Europe’s biggest annual equestrian gathering, Longines Equita Lyon, CHI offered five days of national and international competitions for riders at all levels in the disciplines of Jumping, Driving and Dressage to spectators.   During the 2019 edition of Longines Equita Lyon, CHI, the Swiss watchmaking brand was proud to present the new face of its emblematic line, The Longines Master Collection, as the Official Watch of the event. This timepiece, featuring a moon phase indicator, perfectly embodies the values of excellence and elegance that have contributed to building the brand’s reputation across the world.
