Mexican riders jumped to victory on home soil at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Mexico

On Sunday 5 May 2019, Team Mexico (composed of Patricio Pasquel on Babel, Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane on Hortensia van de Leeuwerk, Lorenza O’Farrill on Queens Darling and Salvador Onate on Big Red) claimed the title at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Mexico in Coapexpan. Team America took second place ahead of Team Canada. The Swiss watchmaking brand was also proud to present another highlight of the event, the Longines Grand Prix, held on Friday 3 May 2019. This international show jumping competition displayed a 100% Mexican podium with the victory of Lorenza O’Farrill on Calvira, followed by compatriots Andrea Azcarraga on Contendros and Gerardo Pasquel Mendez on Mighty Mouse. Longines had the pleasure to grant the winners of both competitions with elegant watches as a reward for their great performance.

In addition, this event was also the perfect opportunity for the brand to present the Official Watch, a new model form the iconic HydroConquest collection. Drawing its inspiration from the fascinating world of water sports, this line combines technical excellence and traditional elegance, both distinguishing hallmarks of the brand.
